Joanne Whitley was born March 26th 1957. Joanne grew up in Richmond, VA alongside her 9 siblings. From a young girl Joanne always had a passion for helping children and the elderly. On top of being a veteran, Joann has a seasoned background in Menal health. Joanne says that her husband and 3 beautiful children were the inspiration that led her to writing her first book. She hopes "The Magical Land of Learning" will inspire children to always be respectful of others and remain true to who they are. Writing and publishing this book was a personal milestone for Joanne. She takes pride in knowing that its not where you're from but where you're headed.
